Every day we read a new article about misuse, inefficiencies, and lack of results from government spending, particularly in the area of homelessness programs. For the second event in a multipart event series, budget-minded Supervisors will tell us what they plan to do to add accountability to the oversight of taxpayer money and rebuild public trust. We’ll also ask them for actionable steps residents can take to effect change.
Featuring guest speakers Supervisor Matt Dorsey, Supervisor Rafael Mandelman (Vice Chair, Budget & Finance Committee), and Supervisor Catherine Stefani (Vice Chair, Government Audit & Oversight Committee).
D6 Supervisor Candidate Forum

Rebuild D6 hosted a virtual supervisor candidate forum for the four folks running in district six: sitting Supervisor Matt Dorsey, Honey Mahogany, Cherelle Jackson, and Ms, Billie Cooper. Unfortunately not everyone could prioritize a community conversation, so only three ended up attending, but we are so grateful for the leaders who did show up and create a constructive conversation around solutions to our neighborhood’s many problems:

Meet & Greet with D6 Supervisor Dorsey

Rebuild D6 hosted a community conversation with current D6 Supervisor Matt Dorsey. Moderated by a member of the group’s steering committee, questions were sourced before the event from pre-submissions to ensure we were able to touch on a wide range of topics in a timely manner.
